In the "Permission" tab you can choose between different access rights under which your project members can access and view project information. The access rights differ depending on the information area.
Files: Choose between no access, read access and full access. Access rights can be set here for all (sub)folders (individually).
- No access: Neither viewing, downloading, nor modifying, uploading or deleting the folder and the files in it is possible. The respective folder is invisible.
- Read access: View and download the folder and the files in it. The parent folder is automatically granted read access to access the folder.
- Full access: View, download, modify, upload and delete the folder and the files inside. The parent folder is automatically granted read access to access the folder.
Schedule: Choose between no access and restricted access. Access rights can be set here for all project schedules (individually).
- No access: It is not possible to view and edit a task. The respective task is invisible.
- Limited access: It is possible to view a task. It is also possible to report a status. This includes storing resources, notes and comments and changing the progress. It is not possible to change the task in scheduling, attach To Dos, documents or elements from the digital building model. Subtasks can be created by the project participant within the specified time period of the released task. Depending on the access rights to other information sources (e.g. files), these can be changed as required (e.g. attach files).
Structure (EMS): Choose between no access, read access, write access and full access. Access rights can be set (individually) for all structures.
- No access: Viewing, editing and deleting ( parts of) a structure (model/system/drawing/batch/defects) is not possible. The respective (part of) a structure, its links and attachments are invisible.
- Read access: Viewing (parts of) a structure (model/system/drawing/lot/defects) is possible. It is not possible to edit or delete (parts of) a structure and its links and attachments.
- Write access: Viewing and editing of (parts of) a structure (model/system/drawing/batch/defects) is possible. This includes editing or adding links and attachments in the (parts of) a structure. It is not possible to delete (parts of) a structure and its links and attachments.
- Full access: Viewing, editing and deleting (parts of) a structure model/system/drawing/batch/defects) and its links and attachments is possible.
To set access rights in your project, you
must be a member of the "Project Management" team in the project.
Click Path:
- Workspace Project > Home > Select project > Permission
- Select the project team and the respective information area (e.g. files) to set the access rights of your project team to this information.
