Create claims in order to be able to document all changes in the cost or schedule or in other areas.
In order to be able to create claims, you have to have booked
the workspace Field Operations.

Click path:
- Field operations workspace > Select project > Claims > "+ New"
- Enter a suitable title and the start date of the claim. If required, you can provide a description, the impact on performance, and who will be the recipient of the notification.
- Click Next to provide further details. In order to be able to create the claim, you must activate the conditions of use for the claim.
- Important: The documents available are designed for general use cases. An adjustment in individual cases may be absolutely necessary. PlanToBuild is not to be used to transmit the letters. Please use other recognized types of transmission that may also prove receipt of a document, in particular registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
- You can select one of the two specified claims. Alternatively, if you specified when creating the project that your contract is based on German law, you can go through the decision tree to define the type of claim.
- Once you have selected an incident type, you can decide which of the tasks you want to activate to process the incident. If you activate all tasks, you will be carried out in small steps through all steps of the processing. Important: The process is designed for general use cases. An adjustment in individual cases may be absolutely necessary.
- You can also find all added tasks in your task overview.
- If necessary, you can edit the construction disruption that has been created.
