Manually or automatically: Set whether or not you want to use all the advantages of the automatic schedule adjustments such as predecessors and restriction types.
To change the mode of a schedule task, must be in the project
group "Project management".

Click path:
- Workspace Planning > Select Project > Schedules > Select Schedule
- The mode can be changed in 3 ways:
- Table: Double-click the field in the Mode column in the table. You can then choose between Automatic and Manual.
- Navigation Bar: Double-click the task bar or use the button in the top right to open the navigation bar. In the first tab "General" you can now adjust the mode.
- Schedule settings: To change the mode for all schedule activities, open the "Schedule Settings". There you select the desired mode and tick "Apply changes to all existing processes" at the very bottom.
- Important: If the "Manual" mode is selected, predecessors can be set, but have no effect on the process. Constraints can no longer be set.
