Do not only document the defects that have occurred, but also locate them in your plans and drawings or link them to your elements of the building model.
In order to be able to use this function, you must have booked the
workspace Element management. You also need at least write access
to defects in order to create and locate new defects.

Click path:
- Element Management Workspace > Select Project > Defects
- You can see all defects with read rights, but you cannot change anything. This is reserved for write access and full access.
- Important: The defect overview in element management is synchronized with the defects created within the digital building model.
- To be able to create new defects, click on "+ New". Fill in all relevant areas such as title and assigned person / group. You can also optionally attach files. To save, please click on Create.
- You can open it in the digital building model by double-clicking on your defect. There you have the option of adding locations, element links and other file attachments in the defect settings.
- You can adapt or export the entire overview of defects under "...". Under the export options you have the option of exporting the complete overview via Excel / PDF export. Under Detailed PDF Export you have the option of exporting a detailed overview of each selected defect. The detailed export also includes the position of the location and the linked elements.
- Press the ESC key to deselect a defect.
