See what's important: The critical path is the sequence of tasks in a project that determine the minimum project duration; it is the longest path within all possible consequences of a project. If one task on the critical path is delayed, the whole project is delayed. Thus, you can see at a glance which tasks must not be delayed.
To view the critical path you only need access rights to the
schedule.
Soon you will be able to find the training video for the article here.
Click Path:
- Workspace Planning > Select Project > Schedules > Select Schedule > "Show critical path"
- The critical path is interrupted at the point where you have set buffers between the tasks using constraint types ("starts on", "does not start earlier than", ...).
- To display the critical path, the latest task in a schedule must be linked to other tasks.
